Matteo Milani (1974), music & sound designer, professor at the European Institute of Design. He started his career in the late '80s in private radio, juxtaposing miles of music on magnetic tape. Thanks to his background in various sound disciplines - from advertising for television and radio to sound for mobile devices and virtual spaces - he developed a deep sense of creative storytelling.
He has worked in numerous television and film productions, such as "Rosso Fango" - short film winner of the "David di Donatello" award in 2003 - and "Yuri Esposito", presented at the 70th Venice Film Festival. He has written for renowned Italian audio magazines and created an international sound community in the blog "Unidentified Sound Object".
In addition to creating sound libraries, an extension of his daily audio production and post-production activity, he composes music and immersive sound for audiovisual, events and installations.
