"The inspiration came during a yoga class, when the teacher, known for thought-provoking questions, asked us: “What do you think the human being is going through right now?”
Free fall, she answered. That was the spark—goosebumps down my spine and a fire in my heart. I knew I had to write a song.
A song addressed to society, one that speaks about how “hyperconnected” we are, yet disconnected from our own souls, from our innermost nature—and how we are losing ourselves.
The reference to Jesus in the chorus is meant as a metaphor: as if we had “killed” that wisdom, those qualities that make us human, trading them for the arrogance of playing God—even to the point of manipulating DNA."
