Neon

Spoken word & Theatre
Neon” by Paolo Ingrosso is a crazy sound experiment. Recorded at STEIM – center for research and development of instruments and tools for performers in the electronic art – in Amsterdam, December 2008, this work is focused on creating sounds using human body. Sara Gamarro “punches” her body as a soundbox, using her voice as a synth and when she modulating these bumps with her voice, in order to create effects on effects, Paolo Ingrosso performs all the electronic parts, using live patches he programmed to modify Sara’s performance. The show has taken place many times around Europe during 2008 – 2009, until the publishing in 2011. Neon is absurd, hallucinated, and strongly interesting.
